Nomination Period for Holy Family University Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2010 Now Open

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Nominations for the Holy Family University Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2010 are now being accepted. The nomination period will run until December 1, 2009.

The Holy Family University Athletics Hall of Fame serves to honor those who have brought distinction and/or made exceptional contributions to the overall development, success and prestige of the Holy Family University Department of Athletics.

To nominate a former student-athlete, the nominee must:

• Be a graduate of Holy Family University
  
• Be five years removed from their final season of competition
  
• Had a significant impact in his/her sport
  
• Must be of good character and reputation in accordance with the University’s mission

Nominees can also be individuals who were not student-athletes at Holy Family University, but have rendered outstanding service to the intercollegiate athletic program through personal time, effort, interest and/or through many years of service.

The induction ceremony for the Class of 2010 will take place on Saturday, April 17.
