Second Half Run Sends Franklin Pierce to Women’s Basketball Elite Eight; Defeats Holy Family, 88-71 (3/17/2008) Philadelphia, PA – A 13-2 in the second half proved to be the difference as third-seeded Franklin Pierce advanced to the NCAA Division II Women’s Basketball Elite Eight by defeating top seed Holy Family 88-71 in the Northeast Region Final on Monday night at the Campus Center.

Holy Family University Women's Basketball Reaches NCAA Northeast Region Final; Downs Assumption, 73-49 (3/15/2008) Philadelphia, PA – Five players scored in double-figures as the Holy Family University women's basketball team advanced to the NCAA Division II Northeast Region final by defeating Assumption, 73-49, on Saturday night in a semifinal at the Campus Center.

It's Down to Two; Holy Family and Franklin Pierce Face-Off For Trip to Elite Eight (3/17/2008) Philadelphia, PA – Holy Family University and Franklin Pierce University will meet tonight in the NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Northeast Region final for a trip to the Elite Eight at 7 p.m. at Holy Family's Campus Center.

Franklin Pierce Into NCAA Northeast Region Final with 68-56 Over Stonehill (3/15/2008) Philadelphia, PA - Sophomore guard Johannah Leedham scored a game-high 30 points to lead third seed Franklin Pierce past second seed Stonehill, 68-56, in a NCAA Division II Northeast Region Semifinal on Saturday night at the Campus Center.

Second Half Comeback Lifts Stonehill (3/14/2008) Philadelphia, PA – A little more than halfway into their fourth meeting of the season with Bryant University, the Skyhawks of Stonehill College looked to be in trouble, trailing 34-22. From that point forward, the Northeast 10 champions outscored Bryant, 45-24 to win the opening game of the NCAA Division II Northeast Regional Tournament at Holy Family University.

Franklin Pierce Downs Dominican (3/14/2008) Philadelphia, PA – Sophomore Johannah Leedham scored a game-high 21 points to lead Franklin Pierce University to a 66-54 win over Dominican College (NY) in the opening round of the NCAA Division II Northeast Regional Tournament at Holy Family University.

Strong Second Half Lifts Holy Family (3/14/2008) Philadelphia, PA – Top-seeded Holy Family University used a 16-2 run at the beginning of the second half to pull away from Molloy College, seeded eighth, in the opening round of the NCAA Division II Northeast Regional, 54-39.
