CRITERIA

  1. Attendance at SAAC meetings
    1. 2 points for full attendance at SAAC meeting (defined as 2 or members of a team in attendance).
    2. 1 points for 1 SAAC member from team in attendance.
    3. Team with zero members in attendance at a meeting will receive a 1-point deduction
    4. Exception.  No penalty will be assessed if one of the SAAC members notifies Robin or Janet in advance that they cannot make a meeting because of a legitimate conflict.
  2. Participation in SAAC Events
Teams will earn 1 point for each SAAC member who participates directly in a SAAC activity (e.g., visiting St. Christopher’s hospital; sitting at table and selling raffle tickets).  Team can earn maximum of 4 points per activity

  3. Attendance at Athletic Contests (home contests only, except for cross country, track and golf)
    1. Each team will earn 1 point for each member of his or her team, up to a maximum of 5 points, who attends a contest of another team.

    2. 1 SAAC member from each team will be the designated person responsible to obtain signatures from each player from his or her team in attendance.  SAAC designee must obtain the signature of a member of the Athletics Department in attendance for form to be valid.
      1. If SAAC designee does not attend the contest, he or she must select another SAAC member from her team (or another player from the team) who will be attending and will be responsible for obtaining the signatures of the other players in attendance and the Athletic Department signature verification
      2. Forms must be turned in to either Robin or Janet within 1 week of the contest.  If not turned in within this time frame, the SAAC Facilitators reserve the right not to count their point totals for the game.
      3. Teams will not receive credit for attendance if they fail to turn forms in.

  4. Attendance at Mandatory Athletic Department events and functions (including but not limited to speaker presentations, workshops)
Teams with 100% attendance will receive 5 points  (exceptions to 100% attendance are rare limited to an unforeseen emergency or class conflict-the decision of the SAAC facilitators is final)
