PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Four women’s soccer represented Holy Family University on the 2009 All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) team that was released on Thursday. The voting was done by the conference’s 13 head coaches.

Midfielder Lindsay Fisher (so. Oakford, Pa./Archbishop Wood) and back Meghan McCusker (sr. Sewell, N.J./Gloucester Catholic) were both named to the first team. Forward Megan Tole (fr. Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) was tabbed for the second team. Back Ashley Smith (sr. Philadelphia, Pa./Little Flower) earned honorable mention.

Fisher is currently the team leader in assists (seven) and game-winning goals (three). She is second with six goals and 19 points. In the CACC, she is second in assists and fourth in game-winning goals.

McCusker is a part of a defense that is currently ranked sixth in the CACC in goals allowed (1.82). On the offensive end, she has one assist this year.

In her first season, Tole is leading Holy Family in goals (10), points (22) and game-winning goals (three). She recorded her first career hat trick in a win over Wilmington (Del.) on September 23. Two days later, Tole scored twice to help Holy Family defeat Nyack. Tole was named the CACC player and rookie of the week on September 28 for her efforts. In the CACC, she is ranked sixth in goals and seventh in points.

Smith is a part of the All-CACC team for the second team after being a second team selection in 2008. She has been the defensive anchor for the Tigers this year. Smith does have one assist.

Holy Family (9-7-1, 7-2-1 CACC) closes out the regular season with a road game at Philadelphia (Oct. 29) and a home game versus Caldwell (Oct. 31).
