Women's Tennis falls 5-4 to Georgian Court in home finale (4/17/2006)
PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – In its final home dual match of the season, Holy Family (9-12) fell to Georgian Court by a 5-4 score Monday.

In singles play, Shakir Willett (Fr./Bellport, NY/Bellport) won at number two flight 6-1, 6-2, while Lauren Wood (Jr./Philadelphia, PA/Archbishop Ryan) won at number six flight 6-1, 7-5.

In doubles play, Willett teamed up with Quena Borres (Fr./Larchmont, NY/Mamaroneck) at number one flight to win 8-4, while Amanda Wolff (Sr./Philadelphia, PA/St. Basil Academy) and Melissa Hale (So./Cheektowaga, NY/JFK) won at number two flight 8-4.

Holy Family will travel to the Georgian Court Invitational on Saturday.
