Women's Basketball team posts 3.37 GPA during spring semester (6/22/2007)
PHILADELPHIA – In addition to advancing to the second-round of the NCAA Division II Tournament and winning the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championship, the Holy Family Women’s Basketball team also excelled off the court.

During the spring semester, the team posted a 3.37 grade point average and now has a 3.22 grade point average overall.

“This is a great accomplishment for our team,” Head coach Mike McLaughlin said. “It shows that in addition to working hard on the court, the team is also working hard in the class room.”

Seven team members achieved a 3.5 GPA or higher during the term.

Holy Family finished the 2006-07 season with a record of 29-3 and a perfect 22-0 in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference. The Tigers were also ranked in the top 10 in Division II during the season by the Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Association before finishing 14th.
