Holy Family University Women’s Cross Country Places Sixth at Wilmington Invitational (9/13/2008)
WILMINGTON, Del. – The Holy Family University women’s cross country team finished in sixth place at the Wilmington Invitational, the team’s first event of the year, on Saturday at Carousel Park.

Jennifer Schrank (fr. Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill E.) was the Tigers’ top finisher, 22nd overall, with a time of 23:13.67. Hanna Debela (jr. Ethiopia/Holy Cross) was right behind Schrank in 23rd place by posting a time of 23:20.53. Christina Cantatore (jr. Galloway, N.J./Absegami) crossed the finish line in 45th with a time of 25:11.55. Latifah Porter (fr. Philadelphia, Pa./Philadelphia High School for Girls) finished the five-kilometer course in 48th with a mark of 25:20.58. The final point scorer for Holy Family was June Cain (so. Philadelphia, Pa./Martin L. King) with a 66th place finish and a time of 26:29.88

Holy Family will run at the Philly Metro Meet on Saturday, September 20 at the Belmont Plateau.
