Meagan DiCave was selected as the first head coach of the Holy Family University women’s lacrosse team on May 15, 2008.

DiCave was previously the head coach at Division III Wesley College during the 2005 and 2006 seasons. In 2005, DiCave led the Wolverines to their best finish in the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) with a 7-3 conference record.

In 2004, DiCave helped Harriton High School, located in Lower Merion, Pa., win the Del Val League championship as an assistant coach. She also spent a year in the United Kingdom as a coach for Bedford High School, a member of the English Lacrosse Association.

DiCave was a standout lacrosse player at Division III Virginia Wesleyan. In 2002, she was the top scorer in the NCAA with 7.17 points per game. That same year, DiCave was tabbed as a second-team All-American, the Virginia lacrosse player of the year, and the Virginia Wesleyan female athlete of the year. She also played in the North-South Senior All-Star Game. In 2000, DiCave was named All-American honorable mention. She was a four-time Old Dominion Athletic Conference first team selection and a member of the All-South first team three times.

A 2007 graduate from LaSalle, Friedrich was a four- year starter in goal and holds the all-time record for minutes played, while ranking second all- time in saves, and fourth all-time in ground balls.

At River Hill High School in Maryland, she was named All- County first team by the Baltimore Sun, Washington Post and Howard County Times in 2003. She was a honorable- mention All- Met selection as a senior.
