Women's Lacrosse coach
Head Coach: Sarah Lautenbach
Sarah Lautenbach was selected as the second-ever head coach of the Holy Family University women’s lacrosse team on July 8, 2009. She replaces Meagan DiCave who led the Tigers during the program’s first year.

Lautenbach comes to Holy Family after spending 2009 as the assistant girl’s lacrosse coach on Unionville High School, her alma mater where she was a three-sport athlete, in Kennett Square, Pa. The Indians reached the semi-finals of the PIAA Championships. It was the team’s first appearance in the tournament after finishing fifth in District I. The team also won the Ches-Mont League crown with a perfect 11-0 record (21-4 overall).

In 2008, she was as assistant coach at Kennett High School in Kennett Square, Pa.

Lautenbach was a starting midfielder for three seasons (2004-06) at Division I Old Dominion University. She recorded 10 goals, eight assists and 32 ground balls. As a freshman, Lautenbach was a midfielder at Sacred Heart University. She also played in 18 games for the Pioneers women’s ice hockey team.

She graduated from Old Dominion in May of 2007 with a B.S. in criminal justice and a minor in sociology.


Assistant Coach: Brittany Friedrich
assistant coachBrittany Friedrich joins the Tigers coaching staff after a successful year as an assistant with the LaSalle Explorers. This season, Friedrich will work with the goalkeepers and defense.

A 2007 graduate from LaSalle, Friedrich was a four- year starter in goal and holds the all-time record for minutes played, while ranking second all- time in saves, and fourth all-time in ground balls.

At River Hill High School in Maryland, she was named All- County first team by the Baltimore Sun, Washington Post and Howard County Times in 2003. She was a honorable- mention All- Met selection as a senior.

Friedrich received her B.A. in psychology in 2007 and now resides in South Philadelphia.
