HEAD COACH: Brett Shavitz (Marywood '01) second season Albert Stroble will be entering his first season as head coach of the Holy Family University women's tennis team. Stroble was a former tennis player at Marywood University from 1995-99. He was a three-time conference singles champion in the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC). He was selected to the PAC First Team All-Conference from 1997-99. He was team MVP in 1997 and 1999. He also led Marywood to their first PAC team title in 1998. Stroble finished his collegiate career with an overall record of 56-53, making him all-time leader in wins at Marywood. Stroble's coaching style is one that requires effort and determination. "As a player, I wanted my teammates to be focused and put forth 100% just as I did. As a coach, I will expect the same from the athletes that play for me." Stroble believes in fundamentals and conditioning. "I believe mastering basic fundamentals and good conditioning will lead to success. These two components will be stressed in everything we do." In addition to being the Head Women's Tennis Coach, Coach Stroble is also the Assistant Director of Athletics at Holy Family University. A native of Williamsport, PA, Stroble received a bachelor's degree in Physical Education from Marywood in 1999, and a master's degree in Sport and Recreation Administration from Temple University in 2001.
