Daryl McKeever has been at the helm of the Holy Family University men and women’s cross country and track teams since 2004. In his six seasons as the cross country coach, McKeever has helped five different runners (three men, two women) earn All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) honors. Under his tutelage, Fred Tuwei became Holy Family’s first CACC champion in 2009. Melissa Hale was the CACC rookie of the year for the 2005 season. McKeever also played a role in started the indoor and outdoor track and field programs that began in 2005. Before coming to Holy Family, McKeever spent 21 years at the head coach at Germantown Friends High School. At Germantown Friends, his teams won numerous conference and state championships, including several relay championships at the prestigious Penn Relays. McKeever graduated from Rutgers University in 1982 with a degree in psychology. While at Rutgers, he was a four-year letter winner in indoor and outdoor track. McKeever ran the 400-meter dash and the 400-meter hurdles. McKeever served as a long-time educator and administrator for several private schools in the Philadelphia area.
