Fitness
Center
The newly designed Fitness Center is located in the
Campus Center, Northeast Philadelphia Campus.
The facility is divided between two floors-one dedicated to cardio-training
and the other to weight training. Each area is outfitted with Life
Fitness and Hammer Strength equipment and is designed to meet the
workout needs of all fitness levels.
The Center's
staff is available to provide instruction on how to use the equipment
as well as help individuals design a program to reach their fitness
goals. In addition, the friendly atmosphere makes the Center a great
place to exercise whether you are with a group of friends or co-workers
or getting in a workout on your own.
The upper floor, the Albert and Carolyn Smith Cardio Room, has five
treadmills, three Crosstrainers, four upright bikes, two recumbent
bikes, two Stair Climbers, as well as a designated area for abdominal
and leg workouts.
The lower
floor is the weight room, which features 40 pieces of Hammer Strength
apparatus, will help you develop every major muscle group and allow
for a total workout.
The Fitness Center is free to all full-time students and employees.
