Mickey McGroarty, 13th
year
Coach McGroarty is entering his 13th year as head coach of the Holy
Family University softball program. McGroarty was an assistant for
one year before taking over the reigns of the program in 1992. During
his tenure, his teams have compiled an overall record of 306 wins,
117 losses, and 4 ties. Coach McGroarty has been a four time recipient
of Coach of the Year honors (1994, 1998, 1999, and 2000). McGroarty
coaching style is one that expects that his players give everything
they have to reach their full potential. Throughout his time at
Holy Family, his teams have been known for both their explosive
offense and stellar defensive abilities.
Neil Dossick,
8th year
Coach Dossick is entering his 8th year as an assistant with the
softball program. Dossick’s main responsibilities are to assist
with recruiting, team conditioning, fundraising, and overall coaching,
specifically the infield players.
Jack McGroarty, 12th year
Coach McGroarty is the son of Head Coach Mickey McGroarty and is
mainly responsible for the technological aspects of the softball
program. Assists with recruiting and statistics and is specifically
responsible for coaching the outfielders.
