Athletic and Academic Scholarship
Information Night
Choosing the college right for you can be
tough, and it can be even tougher for student athletes seeking
to participate in intercollegiate athletics. The Athletic
and Academic Scholarship Information Night is designed
to provide answers and help guide students and their families
through the sometimes complex world of intercollegiate athletics.
Sponsored by the Athletics Department at Holy Family University, the program will be held at 7 pm on Tuesday, January 25 in the Campus Center Commons on the university's Northeast Philadelphia Campus. The program is free and open to all high-school students and their families - regardless of whether they are interested in enrolling at Holy Family. High-school coaches, administrators, and guidance counselors also are welcome to attend.
The information night will help you understand the admissions process and equip you with the knowledge you need to pursue both academic and athletic scholarships. You will hear from experienced college coaches, athletic administrators, and admissions representatives on a range of topics, including the college admissions process, SAT and ACT preparation, GPA requirements, NCAA eligibility requirements and procedures, and much more.
