Lady Tigers Soar Over Eagles

The Lady Tigers basketball team kicked off the second half of the 2003-2004 season with an 84-60-road victory over the Lady Eagles of Teikyo Post University in Waterbury, CT. in Central Athletic Collegiate Conference action. The Tigers roared out to a 17-0 lead and never looked back in a well-earned road victory.

Junior Ashley Dunek (Mt.Laurel, NJ) led the way for Holy Family scoring 19 points on 8 for 9 shooting from the field. Classmate Jamie Battinieri (Eddystone, PA) added 10 points and 5 assists while Sophomore Jilly Chiarantona (Abbington, PA) scored 12 points by making 4 3-point field goals in her best overall performance of the season. Holy Family improved to 8-1 overall and 4 - 0 in conference play.
