Lady Tigers Improve to 11-1 With Home Victory Over Lady Wildcats

Junior Nina Smith (Waterloo, IA) poured in 21 points on 8-11 shooting from the field and classmate Jamie Battinieri (Eddystone, PA) added 20 points en route to a decisive 93-41 victory over the Wilmington College Lady Wildcats at the Campus Center in Northeast Philadelphia. The victory improved the Lady Tigers to 11-1 overall and 7-0 in Central Athletic Collegiate Conference action. Holy Family jumped out to a 19-0 lead and roared to a 30-point lead at halftime and never looked back in securing a victory over a hard working Wilmington team.

The Lady Tigers next action will be on Thursday January 16th at 6:00 P.M. in Bloomfield, NJ against the Lady Deacons of Bloomfield College in a CACC tilt. Holy Family will return home and face the Highlanders of NJIT on Saturday January 17th at 3:00 P.M. in the Campus Center.
