Lady Tigers Unbeaten in 15

Directly after the mens team won their game, our Lady Tigers took the court to face the Goldey Beacom Lady Lightning.

Going for their 15th consecutive win, the Lady Tigers had an amazing first half. The first 20 minutes ended with our Lady Tigers ahead by 30 points.

The second half was no different thanks to the balanced scoring attack and overall excellent defense by Holy Family. The Lady Tigers finished off their 16th game of the season with an 80-30 win over Goldey Beacom.

Adding to the excitement of improving to 15-1 was the announcement that the Lady Tiger's Senior Guard Kate Baun had become Holy Family's all time women's basketball assist leader. Going into Thursday's game Kate was two assistes shy of the record of 553. She captured the record in the first half and added to it throughout the rest of the game, finishing with 5 assists. With a few games still remaining in the season, Kate can make it very hard on anyone else to ever pass her.
