Led by Senior Keisha Brown (Bridgeton,
NJ) and Ashley Dunek (Mt.Laurel, NJ) who each had
23 points, Holy Family improved to 16-1 on the season with
a 79-69 non conference victory over the Lady Golden Rams of
West Chester University at the Campus Center in Northeast
Philadelphia.
Holy Family jumped out to a 44-24 lead at halftime by shooting
a blistering 52% from the field including 5 three-point field
goals 2 by Brown and 2 by Senior Kate Baun (Southampton,
PA) who chipped in with 11 points on the night. The Lady
Golden Rams came out firing themselves in the 2nd half led
by Junior Kiesha Mack who led West Chester with 18 and Senior
Carolyn Muldoon who finished with 14 points. West Chester
is currently in 1st place in the Eastern Division of the Pennsylvania
State Athletic Conference.
The Lady Tigers will play host to the Lady Chargers of Dominican College who are 10 -1 in CACC action on Saturday January 31st at 2:00 P.M. in the Campus Center in Northeast Philadelphia. Call (215)637-7700 for additional information.
