
Tiger's "Post" win over Cougars

Led by post players Nina Smith, Ashley Dunek
and Megan Bauer, Holy Family earned a 73-51 victory over rival,
Caldwell College in CACC action at the Campus Center in Northeast
Philadelphia on Wednesday night. The trio combined for 44
points, 30 rebounds and 15 blocked shots. Nina Smith fell
one blocked shot short of having a triple double earning 21
points, 13 rebounds and 9 blocked shots to go along with Dunek's
13 points and Bauer's 10.
The Tigers jumped out to a 16-1 lead and never looked back playing stifling defense led by senior Keisha Brown who added 5 steals. Junior guard Jamie Battinieri who knocked down three 3-point field goals and added 7 assists in the victory which improved the Lady Tigers to 4-1 overall and 2-0 in CACC action.
Holy Family's next game will be on the road against the Lady
