Outlook 2004-2005
The Holy Family University Cross Country program
will enter a new era as newly appointed Head Coach Daryl McKeever
looks to lead the Tigers to the top of the Central Atlantic Collegiate
Conference. McKeever comes to Holy Family from Germantown Friends
School where he was the cross country and track and field coach.
McKeever will be responsible for both the men’s and women’s programs
at Holy Family.
The women’s team will look to improve on last year’s seventh place
finish in the conference standings. The women’s team will be led
by senior Mary Ellen McFadden (Philadelphia, PA / Archbishop Ryan)
and junior Kristy McCrory (Philadelphia, PA / Archbishop Ryan).
McFadden was the team most consistent runner and should look to
compete for conference honors. McCrory is an extremely hard worker
who will look to help lead this year’s squad. “Mary Ellen and Kristy
are very working athletes and should look to help the team finish
strong this year in the conference” said McKeever. Ania Pawliszewska,
Marta Pawliszewski and Colleen Brady round out the rest of this
years’ women’s team. .
The women’s team will open the 2004 season when they compete in
the Delaware Valley College Invitational on Saturday, September
4, 2004.
