- Holy Family Signs Partnership Agreement with Little Flower (5/16/2013)
Administrators from Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls, located in Philadelphia, were joined today by officials from the Office of Catholic Education and Holy Family University to sign an agreement that enters both schools into a collaborative educational partnership. The agreement consists of three components, including admissions and scholarship, a university and dual credit agreement, and continuing education. The partnership reinforces the commitment of both schools to offer advanced educational opportunities for the personal and intellectual growth of their students and faculty.
- Holy Family Hosts Screening of “The Anonymous People” (5/10/2013)
Holy Family will host the Philadelphia pre-release screening of the feature documentary film “The Anonymous People” at 7 pm on Thursday, May 23 in the University’s Campus Center. Tickets to see the film are $15 in advance, $20 at the door. A panel discussion with the filmmakers will follow the screening.

- Student Exhibit on Display through August (5/1/2013)
The Holy Family University Art Gallery presents “We Are Who We Are,” works by seniors Kathleen O’Connor and Samantha Siess. The art exhibit opens on Tuesday, April 30, and runs through August 10. An opening reception and meet and greet with the artists will take place on Tuesday, April 30, from 6—8 pm.
- Veteran Firefighter and Nursing Pioneer among Honorees at Holy Family University’s 56th Commencement Exercises (5/1/2013)
Holy Family University will honor a fire department captain who served in Ground Zero and Hurricane Katrina rescue efforts at their annual Commencement exercises on Saturday, May 18, at the Academy of Music in Philadelphia. Also being honored is a professor and nurse theorist on the faculty at Boston College, Sister Callista Roy, CSJ, PhD, RN, who pioneered a model informing best practices for health care agencies.
- "Emotional Metamorphosis" on Exhibit (4/15/2013)
The Holy Family University Art Gallery presents "Emotional Metamorphosis," paintings by senior Aliki Fanourgakis. The senior student art exhibit opens on Tuesday, April 16, and runs through April 27. An opening reception and meet and greet with the artist will take place on Tuesday, April 16, from 6–8 pm.
- Students Create Inspirational T-Shirts for Patients at St. Christopher’s (4/15/2013)
Thirty-two students from Holy Family University presented original handmade t-shirts to representatives from St. Christopher's Hospital for Children on Tuesday, April 9.
- Free History Lecture Explores Philadelphia’s Rich Watersheds and Sewers (4/12/2013)
Historian Adam Levine has been digging into the history of the city’s sewers and drainage systems as a consultant to the Philadelphia Water Department since 1998. Levine will reveal a side of the city most Philadelphians have never seen in a free public lecture, “The History of Philadelphia’s Watersheds and Sewers.” The event will be held on Friday, April 26, at 7 pm at Holy Family University’s Northeast Philadelphia campus.
