Teenage Author Visits Graduate Class
Teenage author Kieryn Nicolas recently visited a graduate education class to share her perspective on writing.
The 22 students in Teaching Language Arts and Literacy in the Elementary Classroom discussed the writing process with Nicolas, who detailed the classroom instruction that most impacted her love for literature.
Nicolas, who began writing stories in elementary school, is the author of the young adult novel Rain (Quake, January 2010). She is already working on a second novel, called Flawless Ruins.
