Professor Thomas McCormick Passes Away (12/20/2012)
Professor Thomas McCormick, PhD, a long-time member of the faculty in the School of Arts & Sciences, passed away on Thursday, December 20.

The University extends its condolences to the McCormick family. More details will follow.

McCormick retired in 2000. A familiar figure on campus, he taught World Literature and General Writing from 1971-2000. His kindliness and gentility are widely known among alumni who attended his classes and often appeared in his stories.
