Gun Violence Symposium at Newtown (3/27/2013)
A symposium addressing “Perspectives on Guns and Violence” will be held at the Newtown site of Holy Family University on Saturday, April 6, from 9 am to 12:30 pm.

The special event will include perspectives from those who work in law, law enforcement, politics, as well as those who teach criminal justice at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The speakers will address the nature of gun violence, its extent, consequences, and prevention efforts. The program will be presented in the form of a town hall meeting and questions will be encouraged.

This program is ideal for those interested in law enforcement or considering a graduate or undergraduate degree in criminal justice.
