Student Services has developed this weekly newsletter to provide our current student body with upcoming events and activities sponsored by various departments of Student Services.

Build a Library!
Dear Holy Family Community:

As you know, the Athletic Department is underway with our Build A Library Project. We are collecting new children's books, age appropriate for grades K through six, which will be donated to Laura H. Carnell Elementary School, Philadelphia, PA. Here are two convenient ways for you to participate. During the week of October 12th, members of the Student-athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will be going to buildings on campus with new children's books. You can "buy a book" and donate it to the Build A Library effort. For each book that you purchase and donate, a Holy Family label with your name will be inserted on the inside. In the alternative, you can choose to make a monetary donation to any of the SAAC students (cash or check payable to Holy Family University), and the money will be used purchase additional books that will be donated.

SAAC students will be coming to the following buildings on the designated days and times.

Monday, October 12, 2009--Holy Family Hall and Nurse Education Building--12:30-2:00pm

Tuesday, October 13th---Education & Technology Center and Library--12:30-1:30pm

Wednesday, October 14th-Campus Center and Aquinas Hall--9:30am-10:30am and 12:30-1:30pm

In addition, members of SAAC will be in the Tiger Cafe in the Campus Center from 12:30-1:30 on Monday, October 12th through Thursday, October 15th. You can purchase your book to donate at this location on any of these dates.

If none of the above works for you, please contact me and we can arrange and time and place for you to make your donation. We will be accepting donations up through November 24th, when will deliver our books as part of special assembly program at Carnell.
